Merrow Anam x Projecthrive

We are excited to announce our collaboration with Projecthrive to create the beautiful handmade crochet flowers featured in the Ivy story of Collection 1, My Loves, My Muses. Projecthrive is a women’s empowerment initiative that employs rural artisans to create handcrafted artisanal pieces. This collaboration has a far-reaching social and positive environmental impact, resonating deeply with our values.  

Each crochet piece in the Ivy story is lovingly handcrafted by a group of skilled female artisans in the remote villages of Northern India, making every piece truly unique. The artistry involved in this craft reflects a rich heritage of skills that have been passed down through the generations.

The crochet featured in the Ivy story has helped to employ 12 female artisans for 39 workdays. This has not only empowered these women economically but also provided them with a platform for representation, enabling them to support their families.

Choosing hand crochet over machine crochet has allowed us to sequester 380 kg of CO2 emissions and save 140 kWh of electricity in the garment production process.
