Merrow Anam was dreamt up in October 2023 and is the creative vision of Australian fashion designer, Anna Horton.
Meaning and detail are at the heart of our designs - the more you look at them, the more you will see. They are designed to be treasures and to be treasured, forever. This way of designing allows our collections to be designed and driven by intention and intuition at a slower, more balanced pace, leaving space for our collections to evolve as they are supposed to.
It also allows us to celebrate and contribute to the slow fashion movement as we prioritise the longevity of our garments over quantity and trends.
Our collections are small and we focus on specialty details. We love to include custom embroideries, hand drawn prints, and crochet throughout. Our collections are inspired by memories, people, places, vintage pieces, and artworks. We love to convey an overall feeling of romance, optimism, and nostalgia through each and every piece.
